Nutrition has become a major topic of concern of present generation. We are living in times when people are concerned about their health and prevention of disease. Food has been studied and for centuries considered as major tool and influence on body and mind. Ayurveda is looking at food in deep comprehensive understanding attaching notable emotional and spiritual significance besides its material and biological attributes. Ayurveda sees living human body as well as disease afflicting the living being are products of food.(C.S. Su.28:45). Combination of food according to particular season, time, individual constitution is an detailed complex art. I would like to introduce and touch the topic to help you understand your constitution, specific needs in different seasons and introduce a basic regimens, menus and ailments according to specific needs. Part of the course is a morning Ashtanga practice, pranayama and meditation and afternoon aurvedic theory and practice of cooking particular menus according to doshas. Daily program:
7:00-9:00 am ashtanga mysore yoga
9:00-10:00 am Pranayama and Meditation
10:00-11:00 am asana and adjustment
11:00-12:00 pm Lunch
12.00-16:00 pm Ayurvedic theory, basics, and cooking
(intro to specific doshas, Thursday vata, friday pitta, saturday kapha, sunday tridoshic. Every cooking session will include several recipes for one dosha plus a tip how to adjust the meal for different family members out of one menu without cooking for hours...
Price: 1000,- kn per weekend/25h, 2000,- kn 50h/4 days.
