Sat Kriya Kaur - Lily
Before I started practising yoga, I had practised various activities such as aerobics, pilates and dance for a number of years. Everywhere and always looking for beauty, harmony, love and positive energy, I was learning, experimenting, searching and listening. My spiritual searching began very early, by studying different spiritual literature that I managed to find. My first great inspiration and spiritual teacher was Sri Satya Sai Baba, and my first encounter with practising yoga was 15 years ago - and it was love at first sight! Although I had been actively practising yoga in many centres, at the Divya Yoga studio I experienced for the first time the enlightenment, inspiration and guidance by meeting Sandra Petra Pintarić and Petra Carmichael, my wonderful teachers to whom I'll be grateful forever for the unselfish love, support and inspiration with which I am still blessed. From them I have received great knowledge, the kind of knowledge which I have always dreamed of. The result of all that was the completion of the School for Yoga Teachers, RYT 200 Vinyasa Multistyle, according to the standards of the World Association Yoga Alliance.
After that training, and because of my love for yoga, quite naturally I continued with attending RYT 500, the advanced training for yoga teachers.
During my education at the Divya, I have attended numerous training seminars and had the pleasure to meet many great teachers from Croatia and abroad. In this way I was also introduced to various styles of yoga, such as PowerVinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Dharma and Kundalini yoga, my great love, which I often implement in my yoga classes. In addition to my wonderful teachers, I find great inspiration in spiritual teachers Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, MarkWhitwell, S.T. Krishnamachary, Paramhansa Yogananda and especially in Yogi Bhajan and A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhuphada. In my practice I strongly emphasize individual approach and spirituality because I believe that yoga practice is not complete without a pure and liberated mind."Change your mind, change your life."
